Michał Hinc (born in Puck in 1986), a graduate of the History Faculty of GdańskUniversity, holds a PhD in Humanities in the field of history. He is employed by the Museum of Kashubian-Pomeranian Literature and Music in Wejherowo. He is the author of academic books Tadeusz Staniewski (1886-1878): Dyrektor Gimnazjum i Liceum w Wejherowie [Tadeusz Staniewski (1886-1878): Director of the Middle and Upper School in Wejherowo] and Próba rewolucji rolnej w powiecie wejherowskim i puckim w latach 1945-1956 [Attempts at an Agrarian Revolution in the Wejherowo and Puck Districts from 1945 to 1956]. He co-authored the monograph Chwaszczyno. Dzieje wsi i parafii do 1989 roku [Chwaszczyno: History of the Village and Parish up to 1989] and books popularizing history: Historia Kaszubów na jeden wieczór [History of the Kashubians in One Evening] and Dzieje Wejherowa na jeden dzień [History of Wejherowo in One Day]. He is also the author of several dozen scholarly articles published in periodicals such as Acta Cassubiana, Teki Gdańskie [The Gdańsk Portfolio], Zapiski Puckie [Notes from Puck], Wejherowski Rocznik Kulturalny [The Wejherowo Cultural Annual], Zbiór Wiadomości do Antropologii Muzealnej [A Collection of Information in Museum Anthropology] and Zeszyty Gminy Puck [Notebooks of Puck Commune]. He has participated in a dozen scholarly conferences and authored several temporary exhibitions and co-authored the permanent exhibition in the Professor Gerard Labuda Library in Wejherowo.
